The Senate, the House of Commons, the Library of Parliament and Public Works and Government Services Canada, Parliamentary Precinct Directorate, are proud to be united in an environmental partnership aimed at preserving our past and protecting our future.

The new partnership will enable our various institutions to combine their efforts, standardize existing programs, share expertise, develop new programs and continue to play an environmental leadership role for all Canadians.

To assure our partnership a long life, a steering committee consisting of a representative from each institution was recently created. Its mandate will be to coordinate and implement all environmental activities for the Parliamentary Precinct.

Use this site to find a host of information on activities, programs and new initiatives introduced within the framework of the partnership. Let's celebrate the start of a new era, and let's continue to promote sound environmental management in our everyday practices.
