The Kyoto commitment for Canada is one of the greatest and most ambitious in the world. The Government of Canada presents to all Canadians Moving Forward on Climate Change: A Plan for Honouring our Kyoto Commitment.

The Climate Fund represents one of the primary tools in the Government of Canada's approach to honouring its short-term commitments under the Kyoto Protocol.


Montreal 2005: United Nations Climate Change ConferenceCanada is proud and honoured to have hosted, together with the City of Montréal, the United Nations Climate Change Conference. The Conference took place from November 28 to December 9, 2005.
