Passport on-line

Passport Canada has launched an initiative called passport on-line. This initiative allows Canadians 16 years of age and older living in Canada to fill in the adult passport application electronically.

Do I now need a passport to travel to the United States?

Though passports are the document of choice for travel, Canadian citizens do not currently require a passport to travel to the United States. However, Passport Canada encourages Canadians who are considering travelling outside Canada to obtain a passport, as it is the most widely accepted proof of Canadian identity and citizenship. To provide better and more convenient access to Canadians applying for passports...


The number of Canada Post Receiving Agents is growing continuously. This partnership facilitates the processing and issuance of passports by increasing the number of points of service for would-be travellers.

You will find Canada Post Receiving Agents' points of service in British Columbia, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Quebec and Prince-Edward Island.
