Charities Advisory Committee

The Charities Advisory Committee, established in March 2004, is a vehicle through which charities and charity experts can provide advice, assistance, and feedback to Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) on matters related to CRA's responsibility for the regulation of charities.

The Committee is engaged in a number of areas, including emerging issues and trends in the charitable sector, the administration of new sanctions, and the revised appeal process.
