My Account is a quick, convenient, and secure way to review your personal tax and benefit information whenever and wherever you want. In addition to personal income tax data, My Account lets individuals get information about their Canada Child Tax Benefit and goods and services tax/harmonized sales tax credit. My Account also gives you information about payments, instalments, outstanding balances and statements of account, Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) contributions and limits, and repayments to the Home Buyers' Plan or Lifelong Learning Plan. In order to access My Account, you will need to keep a record of the amount you reported on line 150 of your income tax return from either 2002 or 2003. You will also need to provide your date of birth, social insurance number, and the eight-character access code that can be found on your Notice of Assessment issued after February 2002. If you lost or didn't receive a Notice of Assessment, you can call the e-service Helpdesk at 1-800-714-7257 for an access code. For more information on My Account, visit www.cra.gc.ca/myaccount/.
