Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC)

Value-added Services for Business and Special Applications

The primary focus of the Meteorological Service of Canada (MSC) is on public good products and services, provided to Canadians and their governments to enhance health, safety, security, economic prosperity and environmental quality. These services are funded by Canadian taxpayers and are freely provided to all Canadians.

In addition to these services, there are specific users or user groups with a need for value-added or specialized products and services. Business users and individuals seeking more specialized meteorological products and services should consult with commercial weather vendors serving Canada. The button below links to the Canadian Meteorological and Oceanographic Society Private Sector Directory which contains a list of such commercial vendors. This link is purely intended as informational with no implied endorsement.

The MSC is committed to ensuring that Canadians have access to the meteorological and hydrological information that they require in their daily lives. To assist in understanding the needs of Canadians, the MSC maintains service and outreach offices across the country. The MSC can provide information on its services and the services which are provided by commercial weather vendors in your area. In certain situations, MSC can provide assistance in understanding your needs and identifying contacts to meet your service requirements. For assistance please contact one of the numbers below.
