About the Funding Guide DatabaseSectionsThe Guide is divided into three sections: Grants and BursariesThese grants and bursaries can be accessed directly by research scientists and those which can be accessed indirectly i.e. as partners of industry or university applicants. It contains programs which provide support for the following activities:
Post-doctoral fellowshipsThese post-doctoral fellowships can be undertaken either in Canada or in a foreign organization. The Funding Guide Committee consists of the following organizations: Agriculture and Agri-Food CanadaAAFC provides information, research and technology, and policies and programs to achieve security of the food system, health of the environment and innovation for growth. Across the department, agriculture and food specialists are pioneering safe, environmentally friendly ways to make the best use of Canada's agricultural resources. For farmers and the entire food industry, this means boosting productivity and safety, while cutting production costs. Genome Canada has established five Genome Centres across the country (Atlantic, Québec, Ontario, Prairies, and British Columbia) and has as a main objective to ensure that Canada becomes a world leader in genomics and proteomics research. Together with its five Genome Centres and with other partners, Genome Canada invests and manages large-scale research projects in key selected areas such as agriculture, environment, fisheries, forestry, health and new technology development. http://www.genomecanada.ca/ International Trade CanadaITCan is responsible for positioning Canada as a world business leader for the 21st Century.
