NRC Research Facilities

NRC facilities are situated in every province from Vancouver to St. John's. Whether you are attending a business meeting or a conference, you can easily locate us.

NRC offers a variety of services to businesses. NRC has more than 20 research institutes and technology centres across the country active in numerous research sectors such as aerospace, biotechnology, construction, engineering, fuel cells, information technology, manufacturing and microelectronics.

Individual institutes offer for-fee services, ranging from calibration to development of building codes. Each of these installations is equipped with specialized research facilities and highly trained staff – providing NRC with the ability to offer contract research services to multiple sectors.

Newly-created and established firms alike are able to obtain high-quality lab space at Industry Partnership Facilities and access related business services. The institute Business Development Officers are a good starting point.
