The museum is now open!
With the opening of new galleries in October 2006, the first phase of our extensive Renewal Project is complete. This project, which began in 2004, is effecting important renovations to the building that houses our exhibitions and will result in new galleries. The renovations will be finished in 2009.
The museum remains open to the public during the renovations, but some exhibitions will close in their turn as the work progresses.
