The Human Resources Branch (HRB):

  • supports excellence at NRC by helping to recruit and develop a strong cadre of experienced, professional and adaptable employees serving institutes and branches across the country.
  • is committed to providing services that encourage teamwork and create opportunities for professional development. HRB offers a high quality value-added service which assists the NRC in achieving and maintaining a "representative workforce" that is committed to excellence.
  • provides a wide range of support activities for NRC institutes, branches and programs such as staff relations, leadership development, training, official languages, employment equity, coaching, pay and benefits and Human Resources planning
  • assists the NRC in pursuing innovative policies and programs to build an exciting and rewarding workplace that rivals the great research institutes of the world.
