PublicationsIn today's economy, the creation of new knowledge and its transformation into new products and services are fundamental to economic growth. NRC creates new knowledge directly through its research activities, through publication in peer-reviewed journals, conferences and other key fora, through its participation on committees, and by organizing and attending conferences and workshops. The NRC Research Press, a division of the NRC Canadian Institute for Scientific and Technical Information, publishes 16 scientific journals as well as monographs, conference proceedings and allied publications. All Canadians, with a Canadian Internet Protocol (IP) address, have free access to these journals. As well, many of NRC's institutes and research centres provide access to scientific and technical publications they produce. |
