Privacy Act Extension Order No. 1

ORDER EXTENDING THE RIGHT TO BE GIVEN ACCESS TO PERSONAL INFORMATION UNDER SUBSECTION 12(1) OF THE PRIVACY ACT

SHORT TITLE

1. This Order may be cited as the Privacy Act Extension Order No. 1.

GENERAL

2. The right to be given access to personal information under subsection 12(1) of the Privacy Act is hereby extended to include an inmate within the meaning of Part I of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act who is not a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident within the meaning of the Immigration Act, 1976.
