Service Canada on the World Stage

Service Canada hosted the Seventh World Congress of the World Association of Public Employment Services (WAPES) this year in Quebec City.

The Congress provided an international forum for senior public employment officials from around the world to learn and exchange information on innovative performance solutions and best practices. The focus of this year's congress was on improving the performance of public employment services for youth, older workers and migrants - something Service Canada has been working on for quite some time. Officials from Service Canada presented how we are improving the delivery of government services to citizens by providing a one-stop service experience and increased access to services.
