Café La Vigilance
During your visit to the Museum, enjoy a snack or light meal at our Café La Vigilance. The café is usually open during regular operating hours. Museum admission is not required.
Aeronautica Boutique
Delight the aviation enthusiasts in your life with something from our wide selection of “flight-flavoured” items. Choose from fun and educational toys, historical books, videos, keepsakes, models, puzzles, posters, and aviation apparel. The boutique is open during regular museum hours.
Parking
There is plenty of free parking available.
On-site ATM
For the convenience of our visitors, an ATM is located in our lobby.
Access for those with special needs
The Museum makes every effort to ensure that visitors with special needs will have a satisfying visit. With only a few minor exceptions, the Museum building and grounds are barrier-free. Regular and motorized wheelchairs are available, free of charge, at the lobby desk. Strollers for toddlers are also available for use inside the Museum at no extra charge. Spaces for persons with a disabilities are designated in our parking areas.
Photography
Visitors may photograph and film artifacts in our collection with hand-held cameras and electronic flash, as long as the images are for their personal use only.
Library and Archives
Canada’s largest aviation history library is a valuable resource centre for your research projects. Open weekdays from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., it is accessible by appointment only. To arrange an appointment, call 613 993-2303.
Outdoor Facilities
During temperate weather we offer a covered picnic area, adjacent to the Museum, along with a flight-theme childrens playground.
