The main responsability of the researchers at the Archaeological
Survey of Canada is to undertake research, either through fieldwork or
laboratory studies, which will broaden our understanding of the ancient
history of Canada. In this section of the ASC's Web site, we are
presenting these research projects in order to provide you with a better
idea of the archaeological work that is carried out at the Canadian Museum
of Civilization.
