Journal of American Archaeology

Published by the Pan American Institute of Geography and History



The Journal of American Archaeology is an international archaeological journal published twice yearly. The Journal focuses on all archaeological issues of the Americas, with individual numbers organized around core themes chosen by its editorial committee. The Journal also publishes contributions on the practice of archaeology in the Americas and a variety of other topics. Articles are published in English, French, Spanish and Portuguese.

Each theme is divided into two volumes, one for South and Central America and one for Meso and North America.
