THE CIRCLE is an exclusive group, established to provide a philanthropic vehicle for individuals to delight in the visual splendour housed within one of Canada’s architectural landmarks.

Circle patrons enjoy special privileges and share in the knowledge that their generous contributions are directed specifically to the special projects and programmes that the Gallery promotes throughout the year.

Thanks to the generous support of Circle patrons, the following special projects have been realized:

  • The acquisition of Onantaha by Marc-Aurèle de Foy, Suzor-Côté
  • The restoration of Montagna’s St. Jerome in Penitence
  • The Millennium Exhibition and Prize
  • The special publication of the Review, a tribute to Jean Sutherland Boggs,
  • The acquisition of the Italian drawing, A Youth Leading a Donkey in a landscape, 1535, by Parmigianino
  • The refurbishing of the Baroque Gallery
