What is The Greatest Canadian Invention?

VOTING HAS ENDED.
BUT DON'T GO AWAY!

Will it be the Pacemaker? The game of basketball? Or the telephone, Pablum cereal or the zipper?

What about the Canadarm or the Bloody Caesar?

And let's not forget the hockey mask or that home workshop fixture, the caulking gun.

Just what is the greatest Canadian invention of all? Which one couldn't we live without?

You have voted and now the results are being tabulated! On Wednesday, January 3rd, 2007, tune in to The Greatest Canadian Invention, hosted by Bob McDonald on CBC Television, a lively two-hour special starring our country's greatest inventions and the fascinating personalities who created them. Famous Canadians will select their favourites, and we'll reveal which invention has been voted the Greatest Canadian Invention of all by you, the public!

So, just how do you compare the BlackBerry (1999) with the electric oven (1882)? That's what we'll explore, having some fun along the way.

Prepare to be amazed by the inventions our nation has created. Watch CBC on January 3 at 8:00 pm to find out which is the Greatest Canadian Invention!
