As the Champion for Small Federal Agencies, the Assistant Secretary of the Government Operations Sector established a
Coordinator for Small Federal Agencies. The Coordinator's role is to enhance communication between TBS and federal
agencies, to increase TBS's efforts to consult with client organizations when developing new initiatives and policies,
to identify horizontal issues particular to small organizations, and to support the community of federal agencies in
building and sustaining communities of practice. The Coordinator is the TBS liaison to small federal agencies and does
not replace the usual contact an agency would call concerning a particular issue.
