Marine Forecast issued for Western Lake Superior.
Issued: 3.00 AM EST Sunday 10 December 2006 for the period ending at 3.00 AM Monday with an outlook for the following 24 hours.
Synopsis:
Synopsis.
At 3.00 AM today..Broad 1034 MB high over South Carolina with east to west ridge average pressure 1028 MB through high. 990 MB low over northern Québec with trough average pressure 1002 MB extending southwest to 1005 MB low over South Dakota.
By 3.00 PM Monday..Broad 1034 MB high over western North Carolina.
Trough average pressure 1021 MB extending from southern Québec through Sault Ste Marie to western Lake Superior. 1031 MB high over Northern Ontario with east to west ridge average pressure 1024 MB through high.

Forecast:
Wind west 15 knots diminishing to north 10 early this morning then increasing to northeast 15 late this morning. Wind increasing to 20 this afternoon then veering to east this evening. Fair. Waves 1 metre or less building to 1 to 2 this evening.
Outlook..Moderate to strong easterlies veering to strong southeasterlies.
