Discover the Virtual Museum of Canada’s Museums & Events section and plan your next destination, from art galleries to zoos. Discover exhibitions, activities, and other events awaiting you in museums across Canada.

Museums
Log onto the Virtual Museum of Canada’s Museums & Events section and find links to museums across Canada. The VMC allows you to discover Canadian museums either by choosing a province or theme. Click on any Canadian province and choose to view museums by city, or get listings for the entire province. Canadian museums can also be found by theme, such as Arts & Leisure, Science & Nature, History & Society, and Transportation & Industry. Each of these four categories list museums by province, and include detailed maps to help you locate your destination.

Events
The Virtual Museum of Canada’s Museum & Events section also boasts a calendar of events highlighting special features, activities and exhibits in museums across the country. Find events in your province by clicking on a day, a week, or a month. Events will then appear by date and by province, making it simple for you to locate the most appropriate activity to attend. The Calendar of Events category also features activities that are appropriate for kids, families, and people of all ages.
