Discover the Virtual Museum of Canada’s Image Gallery and browse through thousands of fascinating images. Find interesting objects and captivating works of art, or simply explore a topic of interest.

Picture Gallery
The VMC’s Image Gallery is the world’s largest online heritage gallery, which is comprised of more than 380,000 images from museum collections across Canada. Log onto the virtual picture gallery and discover featured collections of images relating to different topics of interest. The picture gallery also contains a variety of images that are divided among four themes. Visit Arts and Leisure, History and Society, Science and Nature, and Transportation and Industry, and choose from the lists of previously featured images.

Famous Artists
Discover works by famous artists such as A.Y. Jackson, Lawren Harris, and Suzor-Côté. Other famous artists featured in the Virtual Museum of Canada’s Image Gallery include The Group of Seven, and Tom Thomson, who’s many works include Spring, Summer Day, and Aurore boréale.
