On behalf of the men and women in the command, welcome to the world of Canadian special operations.

These are exciting times. With the establishment of Canadian Special Operations Forces Command, the Canadian Forces now has an enhanced and expanded special operations capability to provide the Chief of Defence Staff and operational commanders agile, high-readiness Special Operations Forces capable of operating across the spectrum of conflict at home and abroad.

As you peruse this site, you will find a host of information about our units and the soldiers, sailors, and airmen and women who are developing a world-class reputation within the special operations community. Whether members of JTF-2, the Special Operations Aviation Squadron, the Joint Nuclear, Biological and Chemical Defence Company, or the Canadian Special Operations Regiment, all of our personnel are committed to the special forces ethos.
