I am hoping to locate information about my ancestors.
Where can I find help?
Genealogical questions should be directed to Library and Archives Canada.
Their address is as follows:
Canadian Genealogy Centre
Library and Archives Canada
395 Wellington Street
Ottawa, ON K1A 0N4
CANADA
Internet: http://www.collectionscanada.ca/
They will assist you, free of charge, with your request. They
will do some research on specific questions concerning
particular individuals, and will provide addresses of
provincial archives and genealogical associations and
societies. They also have other types of information, such as
census records, which may help. When you write to the
National Archives, please give them as much information as
possible, including names, dates, places, and details.

Where can I find information regarding the preservation of heritage buildings?
At the federal level, the Historic Sites
and Monuments Board of Canada advises the Minister of Canadian Heritage on the designation of the nation's historic places. You can find more information
about this process on the Parks Canada Web site. Your provincial or municipal government's Web site may also offer information on local heritage conservation policies, including available financial support.
You may also wish to contact the ICOMOS of Canada.

Could you help me locate
the 'heritage minute' dramatizations from tv/movie
theatres?

the CRB (Bronfman) Foundation. Each Heritage Minute is
produced independently by one of several Canadian production
