Canadian Culture atthe Olympic Games

The Olympic Games do not just consist of sporting events; they also have an artistic and cultural aspect. The opening and closing ceremonies of the Games, and the associated cultural events, such as exhibitions and performances, give the entire world the opportunity to discover the characteristics and the cultural diversity of the host city and country. This is an excellent opportunity for a nation to showcase its culture, achievements, way of life, traditions, environment and history.
