In November 1990, the Canadian and French governments signed a bilateral cooperation agreement in the field of museology. The purpose of the agreement is to create and develop special and sustainable links between our countries.
This virtual exhibition project about the celebration of Christmas on the Internet marks the fifth anniversary of this agreement. Using new information technologies, Canada and France jointly developed this presentation about the evolution of rites and customs in our respective countries as well as the cultural context we share.
This project was supported by the French Ministry of Culture and the Department of Canadian Heritage.
