Friday 16 March 2007 from 10 am to 4 pm

Attention teen activists! Your friends are going to be green with envy as you join the teen green scene and celebrate a day of local artists and artworks created in the cool Teen Workshop environmental series. Try your hand at off-the-wall art workshops in the Great Hall, listen to a line-up of environmentally friendly bands, learn about different environmental issues at the various kiosks, and most importantly, have lots of green fun.

Come and enjoy live music by Travel By Owl, The Love Machine, Meredith Luce, Side Fx, The Acorn and Shorthand. Event programme also include art workshops with local artists, teen art exhibitions, environmental booths, skateboarding demos, free swag, fair trade products and organic food.

Organized by the National Gallery of Canada Teen Council in partnership with Sierra Youth Coalition of Canada, CBC Radio One and the Youth Environmental Network. In collaboration with Cocoa Camino, Otesha, Youth Services Bureau of Ottawa, Bridgehead, The Table Restaurant, Arbour, No Sweat Apparel, 10,000 Villages, +1Water, and West 49.
