Atlantic Association of CBDCs

We are the Atlantic Association of Community Business Development Corporations (CBDCs), a network of autonomous, not-for-profit organizations that work with all levels of government and the private sector to meet the needs of small business.

In rural Atlantic Canada there are 41 Corporations dedicated to the development of small business and job creation. CBDCs have been in operation for over 30 years.

+ LAUNCH INTERACTIVE MAP	Financial Assistance CBDCs assist entrepreneurs who may have had difficulties accessing capital from traditional lenders and are unable to qualify or meet the credit standards of the conventional lending institutions. Self Employment Benefit Program The Student Employment Benefits (SEB) Program allows participants to continue to receive their Employment Insurance Benefits while they are getting their business up and running.
