Since 1994, the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and McGill University have gathered some of the best practitioners in intellectual property to conduct successful, targeted and practical courses in patents, trade-marks and copyright. This summer, they bring their proven formula to bear on the following courses:

These lectures and workshops are designed to respond to the needs of professionals in the legal sector as well as concerned members of the business community, therefore offering, in addition to learning opportunities, great networking ones.
The flexible format allows you to focus your training by attending only the Module(s) that interest you, or choose a more comprehensive, three to five-day series of lectures and workshops. Please consult the course brochure for details.
Participants in the IPIC - McGill Summer Program are considered to be guests of the University and can benefit from the discounted rates offered through McGill's Official Hotels Program. The University also opens its Residences to guests during the summer months. Questions pertaining to accomodations may be directed by Email to the Department of General Studies.
Please send your completed 2007 Registration Form [.pdf] to McGill University before June 15, 2007. Registrations will be accepted on a first-come first-serve basis. After the June 15 deadline, please contact us to inquire about remaining spaces.
All fees must be paid upon registration. Fees may be paid by Visa or Mastercard by completing the appropriate section on the registration form. We also accept payment by cheque, money order or debit card.
Companies paying fees on behalf of their employees may be eligible for a tax deduction in accordance with Bill 90, or for the refundable training tax credit. To find out more, click here.
If you have an agreement with your employer whereby the company should be billed directly for your course fees, please refer to the Student Accounts Website for instructions on initiating a Third Party Sponsorship. Please submit all the required Third Party Sponsorship documents to the Department of General Studies along with your registration.
