Buildings of architectural, historical or functional significance are opening their doors on June 2 and 3. They are elaborate embassies, peaceful places of worship, mind-blowing museums, green gardens, amazing artist studios, sensational science labs and more.

The 2007 Participating Buildings list will be available in early May!

Ottawa is celebrating two very significant anniversaries in 2007. Stay tuned to find out about them and related special programming!

Since the first annual Doors Open Ottawa in 2002, over 255,000 visits have been recorded during the City's largest architectural and heritage event.

… Promotes architectural literacy and strengthens appreciation for the rich heritage that can be found and explored in our city's built landscape.

… Generates enthusiastic community pride in both building owners and residents. The event also allows residents and tourists to discover our city through active exploration and interaction with a wide range of people and buildings.

… Encourages new and unique partnerships between building owners, the business community, the City of Ottawa, the heritage community, and community volunteers.
