This is the landing on the third floor of Laurier House. The front rooms on this floor have been
maintained much as they were in the years when William Lyon Mackenzie King lived here. King
had the whole floor renovated for secretaries’ offices and his own personal use. When the Lauriers
lived here, most of this floor was devoted to servants quarters and storage. It was reached by a
narrow stairway at the back of the house. |
