This site provides a tour of Laurier House.

For each floor of Laurier House, there is a list of the rooms on that floor. To select a room, click on the name of the room in the navigation menu to the left. This will lead you to the introduction, and you will then have a choice of visiting the room on a 360-degree virtual tour or an image gallery tour.

To select one of the tours, click on the green titles, "Virtual Visit" or "Photo Gallery", found under the navigation menu at the top. To return to the introduction of the room at any time, or to switch to the other tour, click on one of these green titles.

In each room, you can obtain information about certain collection items by clicking on them whether you are on the virtual tour or in the image gallery.

Virtual Tour
Thanks to the QuickTime VR software, all you have to do to tour the room is click and slide your mouse horizontally across the panorama. Use the buttons at the bottom of the panorama to enlarge or reduce the image and to show collection items on which you can obtain information. The QuickTime icon on the right side of each room's panorama allows you to download the necessary plug-in for a virtual tour.

Image Gallery
Click on one of the thumbnail images on the gallery's bottom right-hand side to see the complete images of a section of the room. To enlarge the images of one section, click on the magnifying glass underneath. The thumbnail images on the right-hand side above the images provide a link to information on Laurier House collections.

The two menus at the top allow access to additional information, such as links to related Internet sites, a list of partners and the site map.

Enjoy your visit!
