SCOPE AND CONTENT:

Sub-series consists solely of portraits, mostly of Canadian poets for a publication which was never realized. Three drawings of this sub-series were acquired in 1982. The subjects of these portraits include: Margaret Atwood, Earle Birney, Ron
Everson, Sylvia Fraser, Ralph Gustafson, William Kilbourn, Irving Layton, Dorothy Livesay, Eli Mandel, Pauline McGibbon, W.O. Mitchell, John Newlove, Alden Nowlan, P.K. Page, John Parkin, Al Purdy, Gabrielle Roy, F.R. Scott, David Silcox, Gordon
