A disc sound recording entitled, "Irving Layton at Le Hibou" of Canadian poet, Irving Layton, reciting from his book, "A Red Carpet For the Sun", recorded live at Ottawa's famed folk coffee house, the "Le Hibou". Canadian writer, Roy MacSkimming,
in the jacket notes, points out that there was a line-up two blocks long waiting to hear Mr. Layton that evening. "A historic event" remarks the writer.
