Events In the Making: A Century of Photojournalism

An exhibition at BloWup photogalerie, from September 3 to September 30, 2003

BloWup photogalerie will devote all of September to documentary photography and will present for the first time, in conjunction with Library and Archives Canada, a collection of more than one hundred photographs that illustrate a
century of photojournalism in Canada.

The images are selected from Library and Archives Canada's extensive collection of more than 23 million photographic records, almost half of which are from photojournalism collections. Library and Archives Canada serves as a national source of history and knowledge accessible to all, helping Canadians to understand how individuals, issues and events have influenced Canada's development.

Events In the Making: A Century of Photojournalism will be on display from September 3 to September 30, 2003, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, and from noon to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

The gallery is located on the ground floor of the Tour de la Bourse, 800 Place Victoria, Montréal (Square Victoria Metro).
