Research Pass and Hours

As the National Archives of Canada and the National Library of Canada come together to create the new Library and Archives of Canada, we are pleased to announce a new single research pass and harmonized hours of operation.

Researchers

Research Pass Registration

8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Researchers will now receive a new single research pass that allows access to all Library and Archives services. The pass is available at the Registration Desk in the main lobby and is valid for one year.

Reference Rooms

8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Friday

Reading Rooms

8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m., seven days a week
 

Visitors

Exhibition Rooms

9:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m., seven days a week

Exhibitions that reflect Canada’s heritage and culture are open to the public.
