Industrial/Mechanical Space

Technological advancements and machines characterize these work-spaces. Continuous supervision of workers and the use of various means of timed labour control such as time clocks, quotas and piecework are commonplace. The assembly line exemplifies this work-space, where output has to be maximized either for corporate gain or to sustain the war effort, and each worker is involved in only a specific part of the production process.
