Man-made Space

The ever-present threat of personal injury or death typifies these work-spaces. The time of day and the weather have little bearing on workers often employed in confined and dangerous conditions, whether underground or in enclosed spaces above ground. There is a real sense that these workers are completely cut off from the world while on the job. Strong personal bonds are often formed between individuals as the dangers of the workplace mean that they depend on one another for survival in the event of a disaster.
