About Virtual Reference Canada

Virtual Reference Canada is a free, dynamic and bilingual initiative undertaken by the National Library of Canada and the community of Canadian libraries and research institutions.

Its goal is synonymous with that of every information professional: to provide users with trusted, reliable answers to their questions.

However, this new service goes beyond the traditional means of providing such answers by tapping into a wealth of printed and non-printed materials held in collections throughout the country.

This section will provide information on VRC, its purpose, its partners and its members. Learn how VRC operates and find answers to your many questions.
