Industrial/Mechanical Space

In this cramped work-space, fellow workers are virtual mirror images of each other as they assemble radios. Radio audiences grew exponentially from 1920 and the war years saw the radio become an important tool of government communication. The introduction of television in 1952 led to the demise of the radio as the dominant mass medium in Canada.
