Graham Smith
Graham Smith, victorious in a swimming race at the 1978 Commonwealth Games in Edmonton, Alberta, 1978, from a collection of photographs by D. Paterson et al.

One of seven family members who swam in international competitions, an emotional Graham Smith (born 1958) won a record six gold medals at the 1978 Edmonton Commonwealth Games, in the pool named after his father, Don Smith, who had died shortly before the opening ceremonies. He established seventeen Canadian, three Commonwealth and two world records during his swimming career.
