Carolyn Waldo-Baltzer
Carolyn Waldo-Baltzer, 18 October 1989, by Barbara Woodley

Photographer Barbara Woodley captured a relaxed Olympic champion, Carolyn Waldo (born 1964), one year after the synchronized swimmer became Canada’s first female athlete to win two gold medals in one Olympic games. Waldo also dominated the 1986 World championships, claiming top positions for all events — solo, duet, figures and team.
