Canada’s greatest winter Olympian, winner of four Olympic medals, Gaétan Boucher (born 1958) competed as a speed skater in four Olympic Games, the first in 1976, when he was only seventeen. He became a national hero at the Sarajevo Games in 1984 where he won two gold medals and a bronze.
