Dic-O-Logue

Disc-O-Logue in the making

The album Starmania, with lyrics by Luc Plamondon and music by Michel Berger, was released in September 1978. The images below show the production sheet received from the record company, "Kébec-Frog," with an attached note regarding copyrights and royalties, the "Formule No. 100," and three of the cards from the card catalogue. There is one general card for Starmania dated September 1978, and two cards which detail well-known songs from the recording, "Le blues du businessman" and "Ce soir on danse à Naziland." These are dated October 1979. The reason for the date change is unknown but since Disc-O-Logue had ceased formal publication by this time, maybe this was the date the cards were prepared.
