Public Transit

Library and Archives Canada (LAC) is within walking distance of bus stops for both the City of Ottawa's OC Transpo (www.octranspo.com/Main_MenuE.asp) and the City of Gatineau's STO (www.sto.ca/index_e.asp).

With OC Transpo, you can take any bus traveling on Wellington, Albert, Slater, Queen and Bank streets in Ottawa.

Paratransit Services

Paratransit services are provided by the City of Ottawa's OC Transpo and the City of Gatineau's STO public transit systems.

Parking

• There are a limited number of free parking spaces in the parking lot located on the west side of the LAC main building. There is a maximum time limit of three hours during opening hours.
• There are two handicapped parking spaces for permit holders in the parking lot located on the east side of the building.
• There are also a number of public parking lots and some metered street parking nearby.
