Teachers can use, modify, reproduce and distribute without permission the educational resources found on the Learning Centre website -- including teaching strategies, ideas for the classroom, activities and games -- for non-commercial purposes.

The educational resources may not be reproduced, for commercial purposes, unless written permission is obtained from the Copyright Bureau.

In all cases, when you reproduce educational resources from the Learning Centre website we ask that you acknowledge the copyright ownership and the source of the material as follows: "© Library and Archives Canada. Other material such as images, sound recordings and videos

Educational institutions, teachers and students can reproduce, communicate by telecommunication, perform, publish, exhibit, crop, reverse, translate, archive and use for non-commercial educational purposes the other material such as images, sound recordings and videos found on the Learning Centre, including a few items in The EvidenceWeb database. In the EvidenceWeb database, when the record for the item contains a Copyright/Source link, this pre-authorized license will apply and the educational license text will appear on the Copyright/Source page for the item when you click on that link.
