The Canadian Encyclopedia website contains several comprehensive resources, which can be accessed together or separately through the search engine or browsed through their own Subject Indexes.
The Canadian Encyclopedia is the most comprehensive and authoritative general reference work ever produced in Canada. It contains more than 8 million words in English and French in some 20 000 articles written by expert contributors from every part of Canada.
The Youth Encyclopedia of Canada provides Canadian students with concise and clearly written information on a comprehensive list of topics relating to Canada. It is currently available in English only.
The Encyclopedia of Music in Canada is the most wide-ranging and scholarly resource on Canadian music. The EMC is available in both English and French and has been undergoing revision since its integration online with The Canadian Encyclopedia in 2001.
Feature articles introduce historical and biographical themes written in a narrative style intended to engage readers and to introduce them to a broad range of related content in the encyclopedias.
The Canadian Encyclopedia website includes a selection of articles since 1995 from Maclean’s - Canada's Weekly Newsmagazine.
