Paul Hébert, vaudeville comedian, performer and producer (fl. 1920s to 1930s)

Paul Hébert

A vaudeville comedian -- under the stage name of Macaroni -- and a singer, Paul Hébert managed his own company in the 1920s at the King Edward Palace and the Théâtre Casino. It included such performers as Rose Ouellette, Armand Lacroix, Teddy Burns and Simone Roberval. He also made 22 recordings in the 1920s for His Master's Voice, including variety songs and humorous sketches with Rose Ouellette and Simone Roberval. In the 1930s, Paul Hébert established his company first at the Théâtre Arcade and then at the Théâtre Cartier.
