Notes: Cora Voyageur was born in Uranium City into the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nations. She is the recipient of numerous awards, including the Billy Mills Award, University of Alberta,1991 and the Kennit Spencer Memorial Scholarship, Canadian Circumpolar Institute,1995. She is the author of numerous research projects and has contributed chapters to several books, including Changing Patterns: Women in Canada; Visions of the Heart: Contemporary Issues; and International Multiculturalism 1998: Preparing Together for the 21st Century. With Dan Beavon and David Newhouse, she has edited Hidden in Plain Sight: Contributions of Aboriginal Peoples to Canadian Identity and Culture.
