Tax seminars
Our popular tax seminars give you important information about starting a small business, registering for a GST/HST account, payroll requirements, T4 slip preparation, and more.

Note:
We have designed three modules to help you understand tax information when you attend a small business information seminar. We suggest that you print the modules and bring them with you when you attend the seminar.

Module I: T4069 - Government Services
Module II: T4071 - Goods and Services Tax/Harmonised Sales Tax
Module III: T4072 - Income Tax

Community Volunteer Income Tax Program
Each year from October 1 to January 31, you can register to become a volunteer and help others with their taxes.

Volunteer Tax Preparation Clinics
Find out if you are eligible to attend a clinic and get help with your tax return.

Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) program information seminars
Public seminars - These give a general overview of the program, explaining applicant and expenditure eligibility and how to file an SR&ED claim.
Industry-specific seminars - These explain how program eligibility criteria relate to specific industries.
